Product Description

High purity organic thixotropes bentonite for all oil based drilling fluids DE-181

Organic bentonite clay DE-181 is a kind of organo clay rheological additive. Especially white bentonite clay is recommended to be applied in medium polarity and high polarity system including aromatic and aliphatic solvent.

USAGE                                                  

DE-181 can be added directly in powder under high shear condition. The addition is recommended to be before grinding procedure to get the best effectiveness. Addition level is commonly 0.2%~1.0%. In low polarity system such as mineral spirit, if polar activator is added, better efficiency can be achieved.

Dosage of polar activator is suggested to be 10%-20% of DE-181 by weight.
