Product Description

DEPOLY HV is high-viscosity polyanionic cellulose (PAC) offered by our company, to be used as a fluid-loss control additive for drilling mud. DEPOLY HV has medium to high molecular weight which can also increase viscosity of the drilling mud.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Free-flowing, off-white powder.

PerformancePerformance Evaluation of DEPOLY HV in Salt Water (as per Chevron method)
Basic Salt-Water formulation: 3500 ml of deionized water, 157.5g KCl, and 105.0g Sea Salt.
Basic gel slurry: 3500ml of deionized water, 350.0g of API Reference Bentonite. Mixture aged at room temperature for minimum of 16 hours.
Testing fluid formulation procedure: Combine 259.5g of the basic salt-water formulation with 106.0g of the basic gel slurry and shear on multimixer for 5 minutes. Add 10.5g of Rev Dust, 0.75ml of 5.0 N NaOH, and shear on multimixer for 5 minutes. Add 0.75g of DEPOLY HV and shear for 20 minutes.
Seal container and age statically at room temperature for minimum of 16 hours.
Fluid evaluation procedure:
Shear fluid sample on the multimixer for 5minutes. Record PV, YP, pH, gel strength, and API filtrate.

STORAGE
The product should be kept in shady, dry and ventilated warehouse with environment temperature controlled within 122F and relative humidity 50%. It should be prevented from sun and rain, and positioned in some place away from heat and fire; the recommendation for bag piles is no more than 8 layers.

SAFETY
Avoid contacting with eyes, skin and clothing. Otherwise, wash with a flush of water. Refer to Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for complete handling and hazard data.
